Mummy in Great Pain

Just when my due date was around the corner, Mummy had a hard time.. She had difficulty walking and moving about, she felt pain at her lower body and small thighs, so she had to spend most of the time resting... On 4th April 2007, Mummy started to have contractions. She thought she only want to go to the hospital when the pain was unbearable.

Next day on the 5th, at wee hours of 2 am, Mummy couldn't fall asleep, she had painful contractions within every 5mins. She had spotting (pink discharge). She did not know what to at first, so to play safe, she decided to go hospital for a checkup. It turned out to be a false alarm, so she went home to rest and wait for the right moment to come.

On the same day, near to the noon, Mummy had whitish watery liquid leaking from 'there'. And her contractions got intense, so she waited for the midwife to arrive at our home to conduct a routine check on us. Midwife said she felt baby's head, so again, Mummy rushed down to the hospital "waiting" for delivery that evening with daddy..

Everyone in the family waited in anticipation. But, 16 hours passed... No news, no calls, no labor yet... ... Opps... It's another false alarm... Doctor took the liquid for a test and turned out it wasn't leaking of the water bag, which meant baby wasn't ready for labor yet. So Mummy went home again... Doctor said only return to the hospital when the water bag really burst.

When Mummy went home, it was already Friday morning, 6th April. She felt so tired and slightly depressed after all the pains and false alarms. Just when Mummy was thinking when will be the right time for me to come out, she started to have painful contractions till she felt like whacking people up. Everytime a contraction ended, she wanted to go toilet... It seemed these were the symptoms for labor.. However, after 2 times of disappointments and being sent home from the hospital, Mummy was reluctant to go to hospital again... She was in dilemma...

After thinking of the risks that I may have in Mummy's tummy, she decided to... Go to the hospital again...

Yeah~~~!! This time, it wasn't a false alarm anymore...
Doctor said I will arrive that night...
